Steam Into Christmas - yes we did! - Our visit was on the day storm darragh hit, but despite this we had a fantastic day at Didcot Railway Museum.
- Sarah H - December 2024
Three adults and a 3 year olds visit to 'Steam Into Christmas' was fun packed, with seeking out the reindeer, filling up the passport and traveling multiple times on the main demonstration line.
The expected duration was two hours but it was challenging to prize the little one away after three and a half hours; had the weather been better we may still be there! Adults enjoyment was not limited to seeing the excitement on the 3 year old face, but climbing onto the footplate of the trains in the shed was a real treat, and left us feeling like children ourselves.
Well worth the visit and we will certainly return again.
Thank you to all the volunteers who remained upbeat despite the stormy weather.
