Spring Steam Days
May 21, 28/29 and weekends in June - Unlimited steam train rides; 200 years of railway heritage & much more!
Explore the unique collection of Great Western Railway steam locomotives, carriages, wagons, buildings and small artefacts at our 21 acre living museum set around the original 1932 Engine Shed
The best of yesterday, history presented at its finest - A wonderful step back in time. Plenty of space to move around and see exhibits, everyone is friendly (including the steam engines). You really can't go wrong if you have a day out here. There is a good guidebook which helps in seeing much that is there, complete with detail and style. A great gift shop and a great cuppa made the day even better. This was my first time there, and on the basis of my first visit, I very much wish to visit again.
