Next Special Event - A Festive Day Out with Thomas - Weekends 30 Nov - 22 Dec

Tickets available on the gate for Sat 7 & Sun 8 Dec - please arrive between 10.45am and 2.00pm.  Please book online for future weekends.

This is the second time my grandson and I have spent the day riding on Thomas the Tank Engine and visiting the Railway Centre with its Christmas treats.
I can’t praise this highly enough. It’s the nicest friendliest day you could wish for. The staff, all volunteers, are just wonderful. There is plenty to see and do. They put together a lovely Father Christmas grotto and handle the crowds with charm and warmth. The cafe serves simple home cooked food; the gift shop is great. There are games, stories and trains to explore, and you can ride one of the steam trains as many times as you like. My grandson loves it. Beats over-priced over-commercialised Winter Wonderlands etc hands down. We’ll be doing it again next year!
