Full of history for the GWR buff or anyone who loves steam trains and railways - My husband and I were part of a group that visited the Centre for half a day and we thought that that was not long enough. So at the next available opportunity we revisited the Centre to "finish" our tour. The Centre was very quiet on the day of our second visit but the staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. An excellent day. Thank you, Didcot Railway Centre.- Jillonadayout - Bedford - July 2019
This is fascinating place to visit. There are two steam trains running with unlimited access to both within your ticket price as well as lots of other things to see. The engine and cartridge sheds allow you to get close and climb inside a couple of engines. You can also see lots of restoration projects being worked on. Well worth the entrance fee.- david1ziva
