We are open from 10.30am until 4pm on all Discovery Days and on Steam Days, although we may open early on some special events.
Last admission is at 2.30pm on all days.
See individual special events for specific opening times.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Admission prices are inclusive of all regular attractions including free train rides on running days.
# Child prices apply to children aged 3 to 15, except for 'Steam into Christmas' events where they apply to children aged 2 to 15.
Special offers including child free, discounts, and 2 for 1 vouchers may not be used for Galas or Steam into Christmas events.
Family membership cannot be purchased in lieu of admission fee on Steam into Christmas events.

Gift Aid Admission includes a voluntary donation of 10% or more. As we are a Charity, this allows us to reclaim tax on the whole amount paid – an extra 25% - to help us ensure that Didcot Railway Centre can be enjoyed by future generations. We are very grateful for your donation and extra support when you pay the Gift Aid price.
An extra £1 paid under the scheme can be worth over £3 to us. An example of how this works is in the table below (although these are not our actual prices)

Great Western Society Members are admitted free of charge on some open days, except where considerable additional expense has been incurred in providing additional attractions. Charges are as follows:

Great Western Society members’ children who are also members will be charged £25.00 to visit Father Christmas.
The charge for adult members on exhibition days (including Steam into Christmas) is £5 per member.
