No 814 - Travelling Post Office
814 is a fully operational Travelling Post Office vehicle, winner of the Scania Transport Trust award in 1997. Demonstrations of the pickup and set-down of the mails at speed are given throughout the course of the summer operating season - contact Didcot Railway Centre for details. On TPO operational days it is normally possible to look inside the vehicle prior to demonstrations being given. Sorry, but the TPO is not in operation at present, whilst we identify and train a new team of operators.
