Didcot Railway Centre offers pupils an exciting and unique opportunity to visit an historical site where they can learn, and gain hands-on experience, about many topics in the science, technology and social history aspects of the curriculum at stages 1, 2 and 3.
The cost is per child, with NO charge for Adults, and will be invoiced to the school.
(The learning element remains the same - train or no train!)
Our school days usually begin at 10am and finish at 2pm. The timing allows for travelling to and from your school.
Your school would be divided into groups of 20 children maximum. Please also consider the pupil:adult ratio (See: School Pack)
Each group will have their own Guide and we have presenters at various locations to add to the learning experience.
Our School Pack is filled with useful information including a risk assessment.
All our volunteers are accredited under the STEM Ambassadors scheme to work with school children.
