National Railway Heritage Awards
Andy Savage, Chairman of Trustees, Railway Heritage Trust, Frank Dumbleton and Ann Middleton representing Didcot Railway Centre and Bill Reeve, Director of Rail, Transport Scotland.
Didcot's Coal Stage Water Tank Restoration project was shortlisted for the National Railway Heritage Awards Network Rail Conservation Award for the best restored structure supported by funding from the Railway Heritage Trust.
The awards ceremony was held at Merchant Taylors’ Hall on Wednesday 6 December 2023 and we were pleased to receive a Highly Commended certificate together with positive feedback from the judges who complimented us on the project.
The winner was Centenary Lounge Ltd for the Refreshment Rooms at Leamington Spa Station.
