Proof of Carer Status
Proof of Carer Status:
Visitors may be asked to provide reasonable proof of carer status on the day of arrival. Accepted documentation includes (but is not limited to):
- Carer’s Allowance award letter
- Letter from a GP, social worker, or local authority
- A recognised carer’s card (e.g. Carers UK or Carer Passport)
- Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance award letter (dated within the last 2 years)
- Personal Independence Payment letter (dated within the last 2 years)
- A current and valid Blue Badge
- ID badge from a recognised care organisation or care home.
