Different to other steam railway experiences - Because it is really a depot and can be described as an outdoor museum. Plenty of old trains and rolling stock to see and you can ride some albeit on a very small demonstration line. But for a different steam experience this is recommended. Maybe best to go on an event day.- Christopher F
Great trip. I'd come all the way from NZ and was not disappointed! Love to be able to wander around the yard and sheds and not have it dumbed down like other places. Very friendly people and great photos! I went on a non running day, so kids were scarce, good for us seasoned anoraks. Kind regards to Didcot.- Jim Overall - 24-Aug-18
