Steam Days
Weekends and Wednesdays from June 8 - Unlimited steam train rides; 200 years of railway heritage & much more!
Explore the unique collection of Great Western Railway steam locomotives, carriages, wagons, buildings and small artefacts at our 21 acre living museum set around the original 1932 Engine Shed
An extremely interesting museum - indoor and outdoor exhibits. Everything from the beginings of steam on the GWR to the King Class. The staff are incredibly helpful and know their stuff. The staff and volunteers are great around the kids, keeping them informed and interested. Well stocked shop and second hand book shop. The cafe provides a great range of hot and cold food. The small but interesting museum is clean and well presented. An all round worthwhile visit both as fun and as an education resource.
