Living Museum of the Great Western Railway

Visit Didcot Railway Centre

See our unique collection of Great Western Railway steam engines, coaches, wagons, buildings and small relics based around the original 1930s engine shed

G.W.R Class 1400 Collett 0-4-2, No.1450 will be visiting us from the end of April until early September.

You could drive the locomotive on our Railway Experience Days in May.
Book before 28th February for 2018 Prices!

This is fascinating place to visit. There are two steam trains running with unlimited access to both within your ticket price as well as lots of other things to see. The engine and cartridge sheds allow you to get close and climb inside a couple of engines. You can also see lots of restoration projects being worked on. Well worth the entrance fee.
