You could even drive the locomotive by booking on one of our Railway Experience Days.
Class 14 Diesel D9551 will be visiting us from the SVR for our Heritage Diesel weekend - 4th-6th May.
My friends and I visited here on the recent Steam Day, which was fantastic! It was great to go on the old carriages being pulled by the old locos. I think it is probably appreciated most by those already interested in railway history and trains, however, it was really accessible and interactive for those new to the railway!
