A day of steam and dreams, enjoying the magic of our railway history - Really worth a visit. Lovely surroundings. Many trains and other interesting departments to visit. Friendly service. Good food. Clean toilet facilities. We had gorgeous weather that gave us the chance to sit outside beside rose bushes or on the grass in the picnic area, when we needed a break. The smaller children's play area is extremely impressive. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. Trains, games and education. All in one package. It will certainly be a wonderful experience for the younger generation to spend time and energy to assist in the creation the construction of such an important historical part of our history. Many more helpful hands will surely be most welcome to help this wonderful organization able to thrive.
