No 1 - Tar Wagon

Acquired from Slough Estates where it may have lived its entire life. Little is known about the livery it carried in its time there, although it may have been all-over black. The current livery was reconstructed from an official photograph of a similar Charles Roberts vehicle.

This vehicle received some remedial attention during 1999, including repairs to its timber underframe and a full repaint.
