No WPW1000 - London Transport Well Wagon

At one time, WPW1000 was used to carry a portable generator and it was fitted with Tube London Underground train couplings, the frames for which can be seen under the ends of the vehicle.

It was obtained for Didcot Railway Centre by the late Dennis Howells, MBE, and was painted in GWR grey for the filming of Sherlock Holmes, Game of Shadows.
