No 135 - Tool Van

4-wheel Tool Van.  These vehicles formed part of breakdown trains, and carried a large selection of equipment and lifting gear. They were usually paired with a Riding Van such as No.47 and based at the larger locomotive depots in case of emergency. They were vacuum-braked to permit fast running to the scene of accidents and breakdowns.
