GWS Annual General Meeting 2024

The 2024 AGM will be held on Saturday 12 October 2024 in the Ladygrove Room at Didcot Civic Hall, Britwell Road, Didcot OX11 7HN, commencing at 2 pm. The meeting will be in person only. Members not able to attend in person may appoint a proxy.

There is plenty of parking at the Civic Hall. It is a 13 minute walk from the front of Didcot Parkway Station. The simplest route is to cross the road at the crossing in front of the Prince of Wales and turn right. At Haydon Road, turn left, keeping Julians car park on your left. Head up Haydon Road until you reach the Broadway, i.e. until you reach the top of the road. Turn right along the Broadway and keep on the right hand side of the road. Walk past the fire station and you will come to a pedestrian crossing. Just after the crossing is Britwell Road. The Civic Centre is across the road. Walk down Britwell Road for a short way and the entrance to the Civic Hall will be on the left. It is also possible to get the X32 bus from the front of the station (Stop R3) to the Civic Hall. The current timetable shows a departure at 1.37 pm, arriving at the Civic Hall (opposite side of the Broadway) at 1.40 pm. Return buses are every half an hour at 5 and 35 minutes past the hour.

Refreshments will be available on arrival and during the break. The Ladygrove Room will be signposted.
