Robert Heron

Robert has worked in the development and management of training in the chemical industry and in central administration in the higher education sector. He has now retired. He has previously served as a trustee of a major Christian youth charity. He holds academic and professional qualifications in science, training management, human resource management, information technology and occupational safety & health.

His expertise includes guiding charitable organisations that employ both paid staff and volunteers, implementing practical safety improvements in the workplace, and utilising IT skills such as screen and web design.

Additionally, he is keen on enhancing communications and applying pragmatic 'common-sense' solutions. Robert's primary goal is to promote collaboration among all members and staff for the advancement of the railway centre.
